Not the "smallest, cutest little" phone you can purchase, but it does more than its share of work for its size. One of the most popular PDA phones on the market (now discontinued and replaced by the HTC Mogul aka PPC-6800), operates on Windows Mobile 5 and has a convenient slide out keyboard for text messaging, the internet or typing in Microsoft Word or Excel. You can also purchase programs to get the most out of your PDA for everyday stuff such as an alarm clock, multifunction calculator, as a timebiller etc.

When using the proper hardware and software, you can use your phone as a fully functional GPS device (not the crap the cellular companies sell you AND charge you FOR monthly as well). When using the proper hardware, you can hook it up to your cable or dvd player at home. The size of the phone actually is a benefit if you turn the phone on its side while using it as a GPS or while watching your cable box or dvd player.
